As a true Gen Z filmmaker, I grew up in the online world with social media, smartphones, and a constant information overload. This inspired me to experiment with film, but also confronted me with the negative consequences of this era. I move across directing, camera work and editing, but always circle back to the same thing: giving a platform to underrepresented themes and starting a conversation that wouldn't otherwise happen. Societal issues are where I'm most at home. The result: intimate, documentary-like films that feel less made than witnessed.
